Job summary

First Interstate is seeking a Community Market Specialist to partner with branch leaders, support onboarding, and reinforce standards across markets. You will identify skill gaps, coach on performance and risk controls, and help align with enterprise initiatives.

The role involves field-based coaching, training reinforcement, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve client experience and operational excellence in multiple Sioux Falls branches.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of banking regulations and risk management concepts.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records.
• Proven ability to deliver engaging, scenario-based training.
• Strong adherence to compliance and audit requirements.
• Understanding of performance metrics and branch operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding and transitions for new and promoted employees across markets.
• Coach branch leaders on service quality, referrals, and controls.
• Conduct branch visits to reinforce standards and provide real-time feedback.
• Monitor performance indicators and help create action plans against risks.
• Support enterprise initiatives and cross-functional process improvements.
• Represent the bank in community involvement and financial education initiatives.
