Job summary

Hornblower Group is seeking a Deckhand to maintain vessel appearance, ensure guest comfort and safety, and assist with docking and undocking in the Coast Guard–inspected fleet. You will provide hospitality to guests and crew while following safety procedures and participating in safety drills.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to work aboard a moving vessel, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends as operational needs require.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and crew.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional hospitality to guests and coworkers as prescribed in RESPECT service system.
• Follow safety procedures to protect passengers and vessel.
• Handle lines to moor vessels to pier.
• Stand watch to observe navigational aids and obstructions.
• Maintain vessel equipment and safety in collaboration with Captain.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of all areas.
• Work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends.
