Job summary

Hornblower Group is hiring a Deckhand to support passenger vessels in the United States. You will monitor safety, assist with mooring, boarding, and vessel operations while ensuring high levels of guest service and compliance with safety protocols.

Responsibilities include handling tickets, providing refreshments, and assisting with water and fuel operations. Prior experience on passenger vessels is preferred, with an emphasis on teamwork, reliability, and safety awareness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Basic computer skills and MS Office familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Monitor passenger and crewmember safety on the vessel.
• Participate in safety meetings, drills, inspections as required.
• Assist with vessel operations including mooring, under way, and bridge duties.
• Sell tickets and concessions and handle cash.
• Provide guest refreshments and assist with boarding/disembarking.
• Perform cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs as directed.
