Job summary

Hornblower Corp is seeking a Deckhand to maintain vessel appearance and cleanliness while ensuring guest comfort and safety. You will assist with docking and undocking and communicate effectively with guests during voyages.

Responsibilities include under-the-ship operations, safety drills, and supporting the captain and crew in maintaining vessel equipment. Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Able to stay organized and manage multiple tasks.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospitality to guests and coworkers as per RESPECT SERVICE SYSTEM.
• Follow safety procedures to protect passengers and vessel.
• Participate in safety drills for major incidents including man overboard and fire.
• Handle lines to moor vessels to pier.
• Stand watch to identify navigational aids and obstructions.
