Job summary

R-2 Contractors, Inc. is seeking a Utility-Scale Power & Renewables Project Manager to own the commercial, contractual, financial, and administrative success of assigned projects.

You will partner with Field Operations to anticipate risks, protect profitability, and build customer relationships, from turnover through closeout. The role requires leadership across project teams, budgeting discipline, and strong communication with clients and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Experience managing heavy civil or infrastructure projects.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel nationwide up to 20%.
• Ability to read contracts and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from turnover through closeout.
• Serve as primary commercial/contractual contact for customers, general contractors, and stakeholders.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and cost control.
• Coordinate with Field Operations and senior leadership across departments.
• Maintain schedules and produce timely project reporting.
