Job summary

R-2 Contractors seeks a Utility-Scale Power & Renewables Project Manager to own commercial, contractual, financial, and administrative success from turnover through closeout. You will lead projects, manage risks, and build strong customer relationships while aligning with Field Operations.

The role requires coordinating with multiple departments, managing budgets and schedules, and delivering results on complex utility-scale infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Experience leading utility-scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of contracts, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
• Willingness to travel nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from turnover through execution and closeout.
• Serve as commercial and contractual point of contact with stakeholders.
• Set priorities, deadlines and clear interdepartmental communication.
• Own commitments, identify risks, and propose solutions.
• Manage budgets, cost codes, and forecasts with Field Operations.
• Provide weekly reports on financial health and milestones.
• Closeout and capture lessons learned for improvement.
