Job summary

R-2 Contractors, Inc in the United States is seeking a Utility-Scale Power & Renewables Project Manager to own the commercial, contractual, and financial success of assigned projects from turnover through closeout. This role acts as a partner to Field Operations, proactively managing risks, profitability, and customer relationships on utility-scale power and renewables sites.

Travel up to 20% nationwide is required; on-site work arrangement with no remote option.

Qualifications

• Experience leading major utility-scale construction projects.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, forecasting, and scheduling.
• Leadership and organizational capabilities.
• Willingness to travel nationwide.
• Read and manage contracts, changes, and procurement.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned projects from turnover through closeout, ensuring commercial and contractual success.
• Own project budgets, cost tracking, and revenue realization with Field Operations.
• Oversee preconstruction mobilization, scope reviews, and mobilization planning.
• Maintain master schedule, milestone tracking, and coordination with field teams.
• Administer contract documents, change orders, and risk management activities.
• Provide weekly project health reporting and support customer relationships.
