R-2 Contractors, Inc. is seeking a Utility-Scale Power & Renewables Project Manager to lead projects from turnover through closeout, acting as the commercial and contractual point of contact for clients and partners.

This role drives risk protection, profitability, and customer relationships while coordinating with Field Operations to deliver on-time, on-budget outcomes. The position requires oversight of budgets, schedules, and procurement, with up to 20% travel nationwide.

Qualifications

• Experience managing utility-scale heavy civil, solar, or transmission projects.
• Strong contracts, budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and change management.
• Ability to read plans and translate to execution; willing to travel nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from turnover through closeout and manage commercial contacts.
• Own budgets, forecasts, and cost controls across the project.
• Coordinate mobilization, schedules, and field execution with operations.
• Provide weekly reporting on financial health and risks.
