Job summary

R-2 Contractors is seeking a Utility-Scale Power & Renewables Project Manager to own the commercial, contractual, financial, and administrative success of assigned projects from turnover through closeout. You will partner with Field Operations to anticipate risks, protect profitability, and build strong customer relationships on-site where remote work is not available.

This role requires leadership in estimating turnover, preconstruction, and execution, with primary accountability for budgets,

Qualifications

• Experience managing heavy civil, solar, BESS, substation, transmission, or underground infrastructure construction projects in the utility-scale market.
• Strong command of contracts, estimating handoffs, project budgets, forecasting, scheduling, and change management.
• Ability to read construction plans, specifications, scope letters, and pricing schedules and translate them into execution requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned projects from turnover through execution, acceptance, and closeout.
• Serve as the commercial and contractual point of contact for customers, GC's, and stakeholders.
• Establish project priorities, responsibilities, and deadlines with clear interdepartmental communication.
