Job summary

Uber Freight in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Transportation Customer Service Representative to ensure timely delivery of customer shipments, maintain daily communication, and build strong relationships with customers and carriers.

You will use the Transportation Management System to process entries, manage status updates, and collaborate with Logistics Teams to resolve issues, while delivering professional service and meeting on-time performance goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 0–1 years of customer service experience.
• Experience managing inbound/outbound freight via WMS.
• Strong Excel skills for data entry and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Process shipment entries using the Transportation Management System.
• Communicate professionally and promptly with customers and carriers.
• Exceed on-time pick-up and delivery expectations.
• Supervise shipments and adjust plans as needed.
• Set up receivers, vendors and supplier locations.
• Collaborate with Logistics Teams to resolve shipment issues.
• Maintain load status updates in the system.
• Engage with customers and carriers about detention and other accessorials.
