Job summary

Oneida ESC Group seeks a Tier 2 FSE Journeyman for an on-site role in Irving, TX. Responsibilities include desktop/laptop support, imaging, OS reinstalls, remote access assistance, and inventory/documentation. The position requires a US citizen and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, solid IT fundamentals, and adherence to established procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Fundamental IT field support knowledge and experience with Microsoft Windows OS.
Basic understanding of IT operations & maintenance processes.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to follow documented procedures and work under supervision.
U.S. Citizen; ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

Monitor, triage, and respond to user support requests via ticketing system.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
Perform desk-side support: reimage devices, OS reinstalls, and config.
Provide after-hours support for critical incidents and remote access issues.
Prepare IT equipment for deployment, relocation, or disposal per policy.
Assist with workstation setup, cabling, and system installations.
Validate equipment and system performance after maintenance or installation.
