Oneida ESC Group in Houston, TX is seeking a full-time Help Desk Technician for an on-site role. The position requires a U.S.

citizen able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance and provides support across desktops, laptops, and mobile devices with after-hours coverage for critical incidents. The candidate will triage requests through the ticketing system, perform hardware/software troubleshooting, assist with deployments, and maintain asset inventories while adhering to established IT procedures

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent with 0–2 years IT support experience.
• Fundamental IT field support knowledge and Windows operating systems.
• Strong customer service and clear written and spoken communication.
• Ability to follow documented procedures and work under supervision.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain Public Trust Clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor, triage, and respond to user support requests via the ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
• Perform desk-side support including reimaging, OS reinstalls, and config.
• Provide after-hours support for critical incidents and remote access issues.
• Prepare IT equipment for deployment, relocation, or disposal per policy.
• Assist with workstation setups, cabling, and system installations.
• Validate equipment performance after maintenance or installation.
• Support network diagnostics under direction of networking teams.
• Maintain asset inventory records and documentation of actions.
