Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking an Area Support I Representative in the US-MA region to deliver on-site services, handle front-office tasks, and coordinate coverage across sites. You will support copy/print, mail, reception, and shipping operations while ensuring client satisfaction.

The role requires flexibility to travel between client locations and to support multiple teams, with an emphasis on customer service. An HS diploma and basic computer skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required, plus less than one year of related experience.
• Basic computer skills/technical knowledge.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in order to meet deadlines.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Must be willing to learn new skills and interact with new teams on a regular basis.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work OT as needed.
• Required to take all necessary steps to obtain security and/or other clearances required by customers to enter the customers' premises.
• May require driving between multiple client locations, may also require a personal vehicle (valid driver's license and acceptable driving record necessary).
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to spend extended periods of time standing, bending, walking, reaching, and pulling while performing duties.

Responsibilities

• Copy/Print Production/Copy Center duties: reproduce print requests, prepare files for print, log and track activity, respond to requests, maintain equipment, record inquiries.
• Mail/Courier Services: receiving, sorting, delivering, tracking courier items, respond to requests, maintain equipment.
• Reception/Office Services: front desk duties, greet visitors, answer phones, schedule rooms, data entry.
• File Room/Records File Services: filing, maintain files, coordinate special projects, ensure rooms are intact.
• Device Maintenance: upkeep of reprographic equipment, clear jams, replenish toner, assist end-users, record meter reads.
• Shipping/Receiving: handle shipments, maintain records, operate equipment, respond to requests.
• Inventory Services: monitor inventory movements, identify slow-moving items, conduct physical inventories.
• These responsibilities may be performed at assigned locations and require flexibility to cover multiple sites.
