Job summary

Sotera Health Company is seeking an Operator to coordinate activities on the conveyor, loading and unloading product and managing dosimeter data at our Hayward, CA site. The role reports to the Shift Supervisor and Quality/Operations leadership.

You will work with dosimeters, run data sheets, and ensure safe operation of the system. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, fluent English, basic math, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Able to perform basic math and measurements.
• Willingness to work established shifts.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive bending.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Computer skills are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Record input, dosimeter and unload information in the computer.
• Load and unload product into totes that are sterilized through an irradiation machine.
• Prepare dosimeters for work orders scheduled to be run.
• Operate and read the dosimeter reader.
• Assemble processed dosimeters with run data sheet, work orders and load/unload sheets.
• Follow emergency procedures and report system problems to supervisor or maintenance.
• Assist with maintenance and other tasks as assigned.
