Job summary

Sotera Health is seeking an Operations Operator to coordinate activities on the conveyor, manage load/unload, and ensure accurate paperwork under the direction of the Shift Supervisor/Operations Manager. The role focuses on safe operation of the system and precise data entry for dosimeter processes.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, preparing dosimeters, reading dosimeter data, and supporting maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Must be able to accurately read and use a tape measure.
• Must be willing to work established shifts.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive bending and lifting.
• Forklift driving experience preferred.
• Computer skills desired.

Responsibilities

• Record input, dosimeter and unload information in the computer.
• Load and unload product into totes at irradiation process.
• Prepare dosimeters for work orders.
• Operate and read the dosimeter reader.
• Assemble processed dosimeters with run data sheet and work orders.
• Report system problems to supervisor or maintenance team.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned.
