Job summary

Sotera Health Company is hiring an Operator to manage conveyor operations, load and unload tasks, and ensure accurate documentation at the Rockaway, NJ facility. You will work under the Shift Supervisor and be responsible for dosimeter handling and equipment readings.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, fluency in English, basic math skills, and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Forklift experience and computer literacy are preferred as you contribute to safe, efficient

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Must be willing to work established shifts.
• Must be able to lift a maximum of 50 pounds and perform repetitive bending and lifting motions over a period of time.

Responsibilities

• Record input, dosimeter and unload information in the computer.
• Load and unload product into totes that are sterilized through an irradiation machine.
• Prepare dosimeters for work orders scheduled to be run; operate dosimeter reader.
• Assemble processed dosimeters with run data sheet, work orders and load/unload sheets.
• Report system problems to the Shift Supervisor or Maintenance.
• Assist with replacing designated mechanical components and support Maintenance as needed.
