Job summary

Sotera Health is seeking an Operator to coordinate conveyor activities, load/unload products, and manage related paperwork under the direction of the Shift Supervisor and Operations Manager. The role involves safe system operation, dosimeter handling, and data recording.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, fluent English, basic math skills, and the ability to lift 50 pounds. Forklift experience is preferred; training leading to operator certification is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive bending and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all conveyor activities by organizing work orders at load and unload stations.
• Load and unload product and complete required paperwork; assist Shift Supervisor/Process Supervisor in safe operation of the system.
• Record input, dosimeter, and unload information in the computer.
• Operate and read the dosimeter reader; assemble processed dosimeters with run data sheets and sheets.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned.
• Replace designated mechanical components as needed and support Maintenance.
