Job summary

Sotera Health is seeking an Operator to coordinate conveyor activities, load/unload products, and maintain accurate records for sterilization processes. You will work under the direction of the Shift Supervisor and Operations Manager, ensuring dosimeters are prepared, readings are taken, and data sheets are complete and compliant.

Ideal candidates will hold a High School Diploma or GED, speak fluent English, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Fluent English required.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and measurements.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Willingness to work established shifts.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Record input, dosimeter and unload information in the computer.
• Load and unload product into totes that are sterilized through an irradiation machine.
• Prepare dosimeters for work orders scheduled to be run.
• Operate and read the dosimeter reader.
• Assemble processed dosimeters with run data sheet, work orders and load/unload sheets.
• Perform emergency procedures as required by governing agencies.
• Report system problems to the Shift Supervisor or Maintenance.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned.
