Job summary

Edwards Vacuum is seeking an On-site Service Engineer Team Lead to supervise semi-routine preventative maintenance of products per defined schedules and procedures. You will direct daily operations, act as the single contact for Installation Qualification issues, and ensure thorough documentation and training for Edwards and customer personnel.

The role requires leadership, strong organization, and customer service skills, with 5+ years in the semiconductor or related technical field.

Qualifications

• AS degree or equivalent in a relevant technical field or 4+ years of related technical experience.
• 5 years of related industry experience with training and competencies defined in the training plan.
• Electronic, mechanical, chemical, or gas knowledge in Semiconductor industry preferred.
• Strong leadership, organization, prioritization, multitasking and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs team daily operational activities and serves as single point of contact for all Installation Qualification related issues.
• Establishes and audits local operating procedures for Edwards and customer personnel.
• Performs special projects at customer sites with supervision as needed from senior technical experts or project management.
• Maintains records of repairs and maintenance, and develops preventive maintenance schedules.
• Assists with failure analysis by providing information on failure modes for equipment.
• Submits information to Edwards technical department to drive equipment improvements.
• Writes weekly/monthly activity reports based on customer and regional management requirements.
• Collaborates with Site Lead and Site Manager to ensure 7x24 escalation support for the site team.
• Maintains punctual attendance and works cooperatively in a team environment.
• Takes direction from supervisor and performs other duties as assigned.
