Job summary

Edwards Vacuum is seeking an On-site Service Engineer Team Lead to supervise semi-routine preventative maintenance of products through defined schedules and procedures. You will direct daily team operations, act as the single point of contact for Installation Qualification issues, and train Edwards and customer staff on procedures.

The role requires leadership, strong organizational and customer service skills, and the ability to coordinate with senior experts and project management.

Qualifications

• AS degree or equivalent in a relevant technical field, or 4+ years of related technical experience.
• 5 years of related industry experience with training and competencies defined in the current position's plan.
• Strong leadership, organization, and customer service capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Directs daily operational activities of the service team and serves as the single point of contact for installation qualification issues.
• Establishes and audits local procedures to train Edwards and customer personnel.
• Performs assigned special projects at customer sites under supervision from senior experts or project management.
• Maintains records of repairs and maintenance; develops a preventive maintenance schedule for optimal performance.
• Assists with failure analysis by providing modes of failure information for equipment.
• Submits information to Edwards technical department to drive equipment improvements.
• Writes weekly/monthly reports on customer-site activities per requirements from customer and regional management.
• Collaborates with Site Lead and Site Manager to ensure 7x24 escalation support for the site team.
• Maintains punctual, regular attendance and works well in a cooperative team environment.
