Job summary

Edwards Vacuum is seeking an On-site Service Engineer Team Lead to supervise semi-routine preventative maintenance of our products at customer sites in Austin, TX. You will direct daily operations and serve as the single point of contact for Installation Qualification issues.

You’ll establish local SOPs, train Edwards and customer personnel, and manage maintenance schedules to ensure optimum performance while coordinating closely with senior technical experts and project management.

Qualifications

• AS degree or equivalent in relevant technical field (full military equivalent may substitute with HR approval) or 4+ years' related technical experience.
• Strong leadership, organization, prioritization and customer service skills.
• 5 years related industry experience and understanding of Edwards products.

Responsibilities

• Directs daily operational activities and serves as single point of contact for Installation Qualification issues.
• Establishes and audits local procedures to train Edwards and customer personnel.
• Performs special customer-site projects under supervision from senior staff.
• Maintains repair and maintenance records; develops preventive maintenance schedules.
• Assists with failure analysis and communicates failures to drive improvements.
• Submits information to Edwards technical department to drive equipment improvements.
• Writes weekly/monthly site activity reports.
• Ensures 7x24 escalation support with Site Lead and Site Manager.
• Maintains punctual attendance; collaborates in a team environment.
• Follows supervisor directions and performs additional duties as assigned.
