Job summary

W.W. Grainger, Inc. is hiring a Full-Time On-Site Service Representative for Renton customers.

The working hours are Monday-Friday, between 7am-3pm. You will support assigned customers by managing their inventory, providing outstanding customer service, and helping customers understand how Grainger can provide MRO solutions. You have at least 3 years in selling or service, a High School Diploma, the ability to lift 25 to 60 lbs, a valid driver’s license, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• 3 years' experience in selling or service environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 25 to 60lbs and/or work in difficult positions.
• Collaboration and problem-solving skills.
• Have and maintain a valid driver’s license in state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Service multiple customer locations.
• Receive and stock purchased product in designated customer locations; ensure stocking levels by scanning for ordering purposes as inventory is depleted.
• Resolve customer problems promptly to retain and promote loyalty.
• Follow designated route defined by routing software tools and maintain route guides.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities in productivity, process, and cycle time.
• Comply with safety and inspection requirements of the facility where the service is provided.
• Help create new orders by engaging with customers to identify additional product needs.
• Proactively identify customer needs during site visits and work with sales partners to expand Grainger offerings.
