Job summary

Acento Real Estate Partners is seeking an experienced Service Manager to oversee all maintenance operations and lead the on-site service team at our properties. You will direct day-to-day tasks, assign work orders, and drive preventative and reactive maintenance while maintaining high service standards for residents.

We seek a hands-on leader with strong communication and organizational skills, capable of managing schedules, hiring, and coordinating with vendors to ensure timely, high-quality

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in property maintenance across HVAC, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and appliance repair.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience leading maintenance teams.
• EPA/HVAC Universal Certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate day-to-day maintenance tasks and assign work orders.
• Supervise on-site maintenance team and mentor staff.
• Ensure preventative and reactive maintenance for building systems is performed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of service requests, PMs, parts orders, and vendor coordination.
• Schedule shifts, recruit maintenance staff, and support onboarding.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate with residents on service timelines.
