Job summary

IES seeks a Crew Lead - Security Systems to supervise technicians on site and coordinate installation, programming, testing, and commissioning of access control, CCTV, CATV, and intrusion systems. You will ensure safety, quality, and adherence to drawings and specifications.

The role requires strong leadership, blueprint literacy, and proven ability to manage projects, with a focus on timely, within-budget delivery and clear customer communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years' supervisory or managerial experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years' experience as Lead Communications Technician or similar position.
• Minimum of five (5) years' experience in telecommunications or a related technical or construction field.
• Must be proficient with a computer and be skilled with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and MS Project).

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Security Systems Technicians on assigned projects.
• Coordinate daily work activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Install, program, test, and troubleshoot Access Control Systems, CCTV/Video Surveillance Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems, CATV Systems, and Low-Voltage Infrastructure.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and mentoring to technicians.
• Attend construction, facility, and project coordination meetings as required.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Monitor quality control and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Coordinate project activities with the Security Systems Project Manager.
