Job summary

IES Communications is seeking a Senior Lead Security Technician to oversee installation, programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of advanced electronic security systems. This role provides field leadership for technicians and subcontractors and ensures projects are completed safely, on schedule, and with high workmanship quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory or managerial experience.
• Experience in telecommunications or a related technical or construction field.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and MS Project).
• Able to read blueprints, riser diagrams, and wiring schematics.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation teams on security system projects from start to finish.
• Install, program, test, commission, and troubleshoot security systems.
• Coordinate daily activities of technicians, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies and OSHA requirements.
• Manage project schedules, material requirements, and labor resources.
• Train, mentor, and develop junior technicians and crew leads.
