Job summary

IES is seeking a Crew Lead - Security Systems to act as on-site coordinator and supervise installation of card access, CCTV, CATV and intrusion systems per plans and manufacturer specs. You will oversee technicians, ensure safety and quality, and maintain project efficiency.

The role requires five years in security systems installation and six months of supervisory experience, with strong problem-solving and blueprint-reading abilities. On-site work with travel within territory may be involved.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience in security systems installation.
• Six (6) months supervisory and/or managerial experience.
• Ability to effectively use listed tools.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and project documents including specs and quality requirements.
• Knowledge of universal color codes in communications.
• Proficiency with listed tools and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise several Technicians - Security Systems and provide necessary training.
• Coordinate with SS Project Manager to ensure productivity, job completion and budget compliance.
• Complete all project paperwork accurately and on time (timesheets, transfers, work orders, changes, etc.).
• Serve as main on-site customer contact and attend meetings when required.
• Demonstrate detailed technical knowledge of card access, CCTV, CATV and intrusion systems and troubleshoot issues.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
