Job summary

i2G Systems is seeking a Lead Technician to manage on-site installation and commissioning of security solutions for new and existing clients. You will coordinate internal and external teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project success and quality delivery.

As a senior field technician, you will train replacements and work toward moving into project management, while adhering to safety, documentation, and customer satisfaction standards across critical infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of physical/electronic security experience.
• Knowledge of access control systems; Lenel/Genetec preferred.
• Ability to coordinate multiple technicians and subcontractors.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Follow project scheduling and milestones.
• Direct subcontractors and internal resources.
• Coordinate multiple technicians and subcontractors.
• Read specifications and drawings; maintain DB of systems.
• Install and train on control systems as required.
• Troubleshoot and maintain security systems onsite.
• Coordinate project activities with all parties.
• Document changes and implement them.
• Ensure work aligns with policies and standards.
• Complete final test and acceptance of security systems.
