Job summary

Essex Property Trust in Redmond, WA is seeking a Community Relations Representative to be the primary in-person contact for residents and prospective residents. You will manage communications through our CRM, coordinate smooth move-ins and move-outs, and help maintain high resident satisfaction.

Role requires on-site work five days weekly, strong customer service, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree preferred.
• One year of experience in a customer service environment preferred.
• Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and a desire to help people.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a centralized, high-volume hub environment.
• Must work on-site in the office five days per week.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with property management or CRM software.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Capability to utilize a personal smart device for apps related to property operations and communication.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary in person contact for residents.
• Manage all communications via the CRM system.
• Coordinate seamless move-in and move-out experiences and paperwork.
• Address resident questions in person and virtually as needed.
• Respond to portfolio tasks and calls within required timeframes.
• Maintain knowledge of the assigned community portfolio.
• Support community operations with the Community Management Team.
• Organize and participate in resident events across the portfolio.
• Handle confidential resident and property information with discretion.
• Occasional notice posting across the property portfolio.
• Perform other duties and special projects to support operations and satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and laws (Fair Housing, L-T, OSHA, EEOC).
