Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Site Quality Manager to lead QA/QC on on-site solar, battery storage, and substation projects. You will implement the Site-Specific Quality Plan, manage inspection teams, and liaise with clients, subcontractors, and regulators on a full-time Bremond, TX job site with travel.

The role requires a proactive problem-solver with PV and civil/structural construction expertise, driving continuous quality improvement and compliance with NEC/IEC/ASTM standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years in utility-scale solar quality management.
• Certifications: Quality management certifications (e.g., ASQ Certified Auditor, ISO 9001, Six Sigma) and OSHA 10 or 30 certification are highly desirable.
• Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of utility-scale PV systems, civil construction, electrical and mechanical codes, and QA/QC methodologies.
• Software Proficiency: Experience with project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6) and strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proven leadership capabilities.
• Travel: Must be able to travel frequently and work on-site at remote project locations for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Quality Management and Planning: with the Regional Quality Manager, assist in developing and implementing Site-Specific Quality Plan and relevant procedures.
• Assist in the development of the Inspection Test Plan (ITP) for the project including inspection processes for all definable features of work.
• Enforce company-wide Quality Management System (QMS) standards.
