Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Site Quality Manager to lead QA/QC on a utility-scale solar project in Plymouth, NC. The role reports to Regional Quality Manager and will manage QA/QC teams, implement the Site-Specific Quality Plan (SSQP), and coordinate with client representatives and subcontractors on-site.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in solar QA/QC, with relevant certifications and strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. Travel to remote job sites is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in utility-scale solar quality management.
• Certifications in quality management desirable (ASQ Auditor, ISO 9001, Six Sigma).
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification are highly desirable.
• Technical knowledge of utility-scale PV systems, civil construction, and electrical/mechanical codes.
• Experience with QA/QC methodologies and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA/QC at the project level and implement SSQP on site.
• Oversee inspection teams and liaise with client reps, subcontractors, and regulators.
• Conduct inspections, audits, NCRs, CAPA, and root-cause analysis.
• Maintain QA/QC documentation and generate quality metrics reports.
• Review subcontractor QA plans and ensure material compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement and lessons learned across projects.
