Job summary

RPM Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee all business operations at one apartment community in Columbia, SC. The role emphasizes strong resident relations, leadership, and professional staff management in a multi-family setting.

The manager will supervise leasing and maintenance, analyze trends for a monthly marketing plan, and ensure regulatory and budgetary compliance while delivering excellent customer service to residents.

Qualifications

• Three-plus years of related multi-family property management experience.
• 2+ years in tax credit or affordable housing experience is preferred.
• State and Federal program rules for low-income housing.
• Experience with Onesite software a plus.
• Strong leadership and management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise leasing and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with company policy.
• Analyze performance and trends to develop and implement monthly marketing plan.
• Trains, motivates and supervises all on-site staff to achieve operational goals of the community.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining high resident service standards.
• Assist in preparation of budgets and adherence to approved budgets.
• Complete month-end and year-end reporting as required.
• Provide narrative of monthly budget variances +/- 10% per line item.
• Ensure property operations comply with all applicable regulatory requirements.
