Job summary

Equity LifeStyle Properties in Palmetto, Florida, is hiring an Assistant Manager to support the Property Manager in all aspects of property operations. You will serve as a liaison between our office, guests, and residents, handling maintenance coordination and tenant inquiries.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 3+ years of on-site property management, strong customer service, scheduling, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in on-site property management.
• Solid experience in customer service and basic knowledge of building structures.
• Experience coordinating and scheduling appointments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other web-based applications.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize guest needs.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record and current auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Respond to questions and complaints in a timely manner.
• Contact tenants to address issues requiring immediate attention.
• Schedule maintenance calls and generate work orders for repairs.
• Order inventory and obtain estimates for repairs.
• Process new applications for long‑term residency, including background checks.
• Assist Activities team with hiring entertainment, purchasing supplies and managing event ticket sales.
• Manage petty cash, accounts payable/receivable, credit card and bank reconciliations.
• Manage calendars and perform general administrative tasks.
