Legacy Partners is seeking an on-site, full-time Assistant to the Business Manager for an apartment community. The role covers leasing, resident services, and day-to-day property operations to maintain occupancy and asset quality.

You will support administrative functions, rent collection, inspections, and vendor coordination while upholding company standards and safety practices. The position requires coordination across teams and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in property management operations is a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to supervise staff and coordinate with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Leasing & Resident Services: Assist with advertising, leasing, and outreach; manage move-ins/outs, inspections, and resident concerns; implement retention strategies.
• Administrative Support: Maintain lease files, assist with bookkeeping, collect and deposit rent, monitor delinquencies, audit files, and support weekly leasing goals.
• Property Operations: Ensure community is clean, safe, and well-maintained; coordinate with service teams and vendors; perform inspections and report issues.
• Team Leadership: Supervise staff and contractors in the absence of the Business Manager; train team members.
• Compliance & Reporting: Follow accounting and purchasing policies, manage online reputation, and ensure timely reporting.
