The Collier Companies is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to join our on-site team in Gainesville, FL. This role supports leasing, resident relations, and community operations at one of our Gainesville properties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Must read, write, speak English and have good math skills.
• Valid in-state Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Retail, sales, or customer service experience.
• Management or leadership abilities.
• Fair Housing knowledge.
• Interpersonal and telephone skills.
• Proficient computer and typing skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a friendly, courteous attitude.
• Schedule appointments to show apartment homes.
• Show apartments and explain features and benefits.
• Take rental applications and conduct credit checks.
• Prepare and sign leasing agreements with renewing and new residents.
• Post rent and late rent in the computer system and keep records updated.
• Assist Community Manager with supervision of office personnel.
• Learn Community Manager functions for promotional opportunities.
