Job summary

The Collier Companies seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead and manage the maintenance team at a Gainesville-based community, ensuring properties meet established standards. This on-site role focuses on effective troubleshooting, repair, and customer-focused service from a Palmetto-based office.

You will coordinate repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry and more, while maintaining safety and quality. Strong leadership and vendor-relations skills are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a maintenance/service manager or supervisory role.
• Conventional experience a plus.
• Self-starter with strong attention to detail.
• Able to recruit vendors and establish relationships.
• Entrata Property Management Software experience a plus.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• EPA certification and strong HVAC skills preferred.
• On-call emergency commitment required.
• Proven track record of excellent customer service.
• Able to work independently and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the maintenance team to meet property standards.
• On-site role from one of The Collier Companies’ community offices in FL.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and implement solutions with a customer-focused approach.
• Perform repairs in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, exteriors, and appliances.
