Job summary

The Collier Companies is seeking an Entry level Leasing Specialist to join an on-site team in Gainesville, FL. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective residents and will help close leases at one of our community offices.

You will provide outstanding customer service, showcase community benefits, and develop relationships to drive occupancy. Weekend availability is required as needed, with opportunities to grow through our comprehensive benefits package and ongoing

Qualifications

Strong sales experience with a desire to exceed leasing requirements.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Customer-focused mentality.
Proficiency with various software, apps, and computer programs.
Professional appearance and polished demeanor.
Ability to multi-task and shift priorities quickly in a fast-paced leasing office.
1–2 years of leasing or customer service experience in a retail, hospitality, housing, or multi-family environment.
College education preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional and consistent customer service to residents and prospects.
Lease apartment homes by building relationships and showcasing the benefits of living at a Collier Companies community.
Always be closing – over the phone, through email, and in person. Serve as the subject expert on the product, the property, and the local neighborhood.
Generate leads by conducting effective follow-up on the phone and through email.
Create and implement promotional programs, including creative online advertising, direct marketing, social media outreach, and resident events.
Contribute to desired occupancy levels by renewing current resident leases.
Maintain accurate resident files.
Weekends required, as needed.
