Job summary

The Collier Companies seeks a Leasing & Marketing Manager for an on-site role in Gainesville. You will show and lease apartment homes, prepare leasing agreements, and help manage the leasing team while adapting to market changes and owner objectives.

Required are strong sales/customer service skills, knowledge of Fair Housing, and solid English communication. A leadership mindset and reliable transportation are essential.

Qualifications

• Retail, sales or customer service experience required or preferred.
• Fair Housing and legal knowledge desirable.
• Proficient reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension of English.
• Strong interpersonal and telephone skills; able to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Show apartment homes to prospects and explain features and benefits.
• Process applications and conduct credit checks on applicants.
• Develop weekly schedule for Leasing Specialists and manage the leasing team.
• Prepare apartment homes for re-rental and address renewal opportunities.
• Greet customers, respond to inquiries, and answer phones professionally.
• Cross-market to other Collier properties to promote vacancies.
• Open/close office, maintain showroom, and keep the leasing area organized.
