Job summary

Ad-West Realty Services, Inc. is seeking a Property Maintenance Repair Technician to keep our apartment community safe, clean, and well maintained.

You will perform inspections, repairs, respond to emergencies, and manage work orders to ensure tenant satisfaction. This part-time, on-site role at one property in Twisp includes pool maintenance where applicable, on-call duties for emergencies, and coordination with the property management team.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent required.
• Relevant experience in maintenance or a similar role preferred.
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Basic computer skills for maintaining records and work orders.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with tenants and the property management team.
• Prior experience in property maintenance or facilities management preferred.
• Dependability and adaptability to handle a variety of tasks and emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor and major repairs on buildings, door locks, gates, plumbing, caulking, and pipes.
• Inspect vacated and occupied apartments to identify and address maintenance needs.
• Replace light switches, thermostats, and appliance parts such as oven and water heater elements.
• Maintain outdoor lighting fixtures and repair as needed.
• Ensure pool safety and maintenance where applicable.
• Complete work orders with updates, parts used and time spent.
• Submit maintenance paperwork accurately and on time.
• Communicate with the property management team about work orders.
• Be on-call for emergency repairs (fire, electrical, flood).
• Maintain positive public relations with the community.
• Other duties as assigned.
