Job summary

Ad-West Realty Services, Inc. is a professional, full-service property management company overseeing two apartment communities in the Northwest since 1986. We seek a Property Maintenance Repair Technician to maintain safety, functionality, and appearance, including inspections, repairs, and emergency response.

Pool upkeep may be involved, with comprehensive documentation and tenant communication. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and strong mechanical/technical aptitude.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent required.
• Relevant maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Basic computer skills for maintaining records and work orders.
• Strong verbal and written communication with tenants and management.
• Prior property maintenance or facilities management preferred.
• Dependability and adaptability for varied tasks and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs on buildings, doors, locks, gates, plumbing, fixtures.
• Inspect vacated and occupied apartments and address needs.
• Replace light switches, thermostats, and appliance parts.
• Maintain outdoor lighting and pool equipment where applicable.
• Complete work orders with updates, parts used, and time spent.
• Submit maintenance paperwork timely and accurately.
• Communicate with management about work orders and issues.
• Be on-call for emergency repairs and safety concerns.
• Interact professionally with residents and team members.
