Job summary

Ad-West Realty Services, Inc. is seeking a Property Maintenance Repair Technician to keep apartment communities safe, functional, and well maintained.

This on-site role covers inspections, repairs, basic pool upkeep where applicable, and timely work order completion across our Washington properties. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, hands-on maintenance experience, strong mechanical skills, and basic computer literacy to track actions and inventory.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent required.
• Relevant maintenance or facilities experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Basic computer skills for records and work orders.
• Strong verbal and written communication with tenants and team.
• Dependability and adaptability for emergencies and varied tasks.
• Prior maintenance or facilities management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor and major repairs on buildings, doors, gates, plumbing, and fixtures.
• Inspect vacated and occupied apartments to identify needs.
• Replace light switches, thermostats, and appliance parts as needed.
• Maintain outdoor lighting and pool equipment, where applicable.
• Complete work orders with detailed updates and documentation.
• Be on-call for emergency repairs and maintain safety.
• Communicate with management on work order status and issues.
