Job summary

AD West Realty is seeking a Property Maintenance Repair Technician to keep apartment communities safe, functional, and well-maintained. The role covers inspections, repairs, and emergency response across a multi-unit site, with emphasis on tenant satisfaction and property standards.

You will perform repairs on building systems, assist with pool maintenance where applicable, and ensure accurate documentation of work orders.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent required.
• Relevant maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Basic computer skills for work orders and records.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor and major repairs on buildings, doors, locks, gates, plumbing, caulking, and pipes.
• Inspect vacated and occupied apartments to identify maintenance needs.
• Replace light switches, thermostats, and appliance parts such as oven and water heater elements.
• Maintain outdoor lighting and pool equipment where applicable.
• Complete work orders with updates, parts used, and time spent.
• On-call for emergency repairs and safety issues.
• Communicate with management to provide status updates.
