Job summary

Ad-West Realty Services, Inc. is seeking a Property Maintenance Repair Technician to keep two apartment communities safe, clean, and well maintained.

You will perform inspections, repairs, and preventive tasks, respond to emergencies, and manage work orders while coordinating with tenants and the management team. This full-time on-site role requires a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and a dependable, safety‑minded mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Basic computer skills for maintaining records and work orders.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior experience in property maintenance or facilities management preferred.
• Dependability and adaptability to handle emergencies and various tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor and major repairs on buildings, doors, plumbing, and fixtures.
• Inspect vacated and occupied apartments to identify maintenance needs.
• Replace light switches, thermostats, and appliance parts.
• Maintain outdoor lighting and safety of outdoor spaces.
• Oversee swimming pool equipment and chemical levels where applicable.
• Complete work orders with clear updates, parts used, and time spent.
• Communicate status and issues to the property management team.
• Be on-call for emergency repairs as needed.
• Maintain positive relations with residents and the community.
