Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Porter to support maintenance operations at the community. The role includes assisting with corrective, preventative, routine, and cosmetic tasks under supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.

Daily on-site attendance is required, with responsibilities ranging from cleaning and grounds upkeep to responding to work orders and resident requests in a timely fashion.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintenance duties and upkeep of property grounds and facilities.
• Attend daily on-site operations and respond to resident/management requests and work orders in a timely manner.
• Conduct routine and preventative maintenance as directed by Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.
• Inspect grounds and buildings to identify hazardous conditions and ensure safety standards are met.
• Support in making-ready tasks and coordinate with team to complete repairs promptly.
• Participate in on-call emergencies at the community and maintain a professional image with residents.
