Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Porter to assist in the maintenance of our properties under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager. The role includes regular on-site attendance, cleaning, grounds maintenance, make-ready tasks, and prompt responses to resident requests.

You will perform pool maintenance, follow safety procedures, and help sustain a well-kept community environment, with emphasis on quality workmanship and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills are required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out maintenance processes including corrective, preventative, routine and cosmetic tasks.
• Regular/daily on-site attendance is required.
• Clean, maintain grounds and make-ready units and common areas.
• Respond to resident and management requests and work orders promptly.
• Maintain a safe, organized maintenance shop and follow safety guidelines.
• Perform pool maintenance and keep chemical logs up to date.
