Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure buildings and common areas meet safety, cleanliness, and functionality standards. The role covers preventive maintenance, make-ready tasks for vacant units, and inventory control on a high-rise property.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, repairing systems, documenting work orders, and assisting with grounds upkeep. EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1/II or Universal refrigerant certification
• Valid driver's license to operate golf cart on properties
• State and local compliance certifications as required

Responsibilities

• Diagnose defects and repair systems per policies and safety standards.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections and scheduling of vendors/contractors.
• Manage materials, inventory, and vendor coordination.
• Document service requests accurately and timely.
• Maintain grounds and amenities, perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by using parts efficiently.
