Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Service Technician to maintain building systems, grounds, and common areas. The role handles work orders, preventative maintenance, and the make-ready process for new residents.

You will also manage inventory, coordinate with vendors, and ensure safety and quality standards across the property. The position requires EPA refrigerant certifications (Type 1/II or Universal), state/local credentials, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling required.
• State and local certifications as required for service technicians.
• Valid driver’s license to operate equipment on property.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and preventive maintenance by diagnosing defects and repairing per policy.
• Perform make-ready processes for vacant apartments, inspect, schedule vendors, and ensure tasks are completed.
• Access materials from maintenance, track usage, reorder as needed, and report shortages.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintain grounds, clean common areas, and assist with painting and curb signage.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using tools properly.
• Periodically inspect contractor work for quality and compliance.
• Participate in routine property inspections and communicate maintenance needs to management.
