Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a 360-unit property to protect and enhance the physical standards of the buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas. This role handles work orders, preventative maintenance, make-ready tasks, and ensures safety and code compliance at the property.

Schedule is Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with rotating on-call. EPA Type 1/II or Universal refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license are required, with on-site housing discounts available for

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant recycling certification is required.
• State and local jurisdiction certifications as required for Service Technicians.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance on the property.
• Completes the “make-ready” process for vacant units and coordinates with vendors/contractors as needed.
• Tracks materials, returns unused items, and notifies supervisor about re-ordering needs.
• Documents service requests promptly and accurately for tracking and records.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, including cleaning, painting, and minor repairs.
• Supports cost-saving by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
