Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of buildings, ensuring cleanliness, safety and functionality. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and carry out preventative maintenance to uphold Greystar’s standards across properties.

The role requires performing make-ready tasks for vacant units, coordinating vendors, and documenting work orders with precision. EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1/II or Universal refrigerant certification required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to perform maintenance tasks safely and in compliance with policies.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and performing repairs per policies and safety codes.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including inspections, punch lists, scheduling, and ensuring all tasks are completed.

Education

EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling

Valid driver’s license
