New-Earth-Residential is seeking a dependable Service Technician to join our Albuquerque community. You will perform routine maintenance, respond to resident requests, and help maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.

Ideal candidates have basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry knowledge, good communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks. A valid driver's license may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance, repair, or service technician experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, and carpentry.
• Ability to diagnose issues and complete repairs efficiently and accurately.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Basic computer or mobile device skills for work orders and documentation.
• Ability to lift, bend, climb, and perform physically active work as needed.
• Valid driver's license may be required depending on operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform routine repairs and maintenance on apartment homes, common areas, and building systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, and general maintenance.
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks to help ensure safe and efficient property operations.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents, including repairs, cleaning support, and turnover work.
• Inspect the property regularly and report maintenance concerns or safety hazards.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and outstanding issues.
• Work with team members and supervisors to support smooth daily operations.
• Follow safety procedures, company policies, and applicable regulations at all times.
• Provide courteous, solution-oriented service to residents, vendors, and coworkers.
