Job summary

New Earth Residential is seeking a Service Technician to maintain community spaces and ensure equipment stays fully functional. You will serve residents, respond to on-call needs, and support preventive maintenance across buildings.

Ideal candidates bring a high school diploma, HVAC/R knowledge (preferred), and a proven ability to follow detailed instructions. You will work with supervisors and on-site staff to deliver excellent service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• HVAC/R certification (preferred).
• Ability to follow detailed oral and written instructions.
• Proven leader with strong customer service.
• Self-motivated with time management and goal setting.
• Resourceful problem solver in a dynamic environment.
• Collaborative team player with strong communication and organization.
• Proficient in English; bilingual candidates encouraged.
• Inventory tracking and parts management.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and handle chemicals safely.
• Available for on-call nights and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance in common areas and assist operations.
• Available for on-call responsibilities during nights and weekends.
• Ensure timely completion of service requests in occupied apartments.
• Oversee maintenance of mechanical systems and grounds to support occupancy goals.
• Participate in preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas and grounds.
• Adhere to safety protocols and deliver courteous, five-star service.
• Assist with program activities and resident engagements.
